Partners and reference group

The Minister for Immigration and Integration determines which authorities are covered by NIDC's services and who may submit a request to the center for a statement on a document for use in the authority's activities or for a decision.

The public authorities covered by the Aliens Act and can be served by the NIDC are listed below:

The Appeal Board
The Agency of Family Law
The Danish Refugee Appeals Board
The Danish Return Agency
The Ministry of Justice
The Danish Police
The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs 
The Ministry of Immigration and Integration
The Immigration Appeals Board
The Danish Immigration Service

Furthermore, employees who conduct personal registration in following authorities are covered:

ATP
The Ministry of Ecclesiastical Affairs
The Danish Tax Agency
The Municipalities
The Danish Agency for Education and Research

The reference group determines NIDC's overall strategy, priorities, and focus areas as well as guidelines for the center's long-term activities and development. The reference group is composed of representatives from the authorities covered by NIDC's services. A member of the Ministry of Immigration and Integration chairs the reference group. The head of NIDC also participates in the reference group's meetings.

Since the end of 2022, the reference group consists of representatives from the Appeal Board, ATP, the Agency of Family Law, the Danish Refugee Appeals Board, the Danish Return Agency, the Ministry of Justice, the Danish Police, the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Immigration and Integration, the Immigration Appeals Board, and the Danish Immigration Service.
