This note describes the procedures of birth registration and issuance of the Moroccan birth certificates. The note includes a description of the three different types of the Moroccan birth certificates: Acte de naissance (original birth certificate), Copie integral de l’acte de naissance (integral copy of the birth certificate), Extrait de l’acte de naissance (extract of the birth certificate).

The Danish National ID Centre has published a note on the Moroccan passport version 2009. The note contains a review of the requirements for the passport to be issued and the issuing procedure for citizens residing in Morocco and abroad.
